Womban have always had to walk through different rites of passage. When we are born we are innocent until puberty when we receive our first bleed. This takes us into the maiden. The passage through puberty is often turbulent as we navigate the changes in our bodies into becoming a womban. Next, we navigate the rite of passage of preconception. This can be a long journey for some and quick for others. We have to clear our bodies ready to be a portal of a soul into this world. Pregnancy and birth are also rites of passage where womban are preparing to move from maiden into mother. The birth itself is often clearing bloodline and karmic loops. The last rite of passage into motherhood is postpartum. We have to shed the maiden, everything we knew, and accept our new bodies and the responsibility of nurturing a new soul in their life. Western womban especially have for centuries had there rites of passage stripped away from them. Sarah is here to bring the sacred back into your journey.

Doulas have been a part of the birthing process for millennia! Someone who is a birth worker has many hours of training and experience to guide you through any eventuality that can arise within the process. Sarah is a full spectrum doula and has the ability to guide you through each sacred rite of passage; preconception, birth, and postpartum. She also has many different healing modalities that she can draw upon while supporting you. These range from; spirit baby communication, Reiki, Yoga, Spiritual Life Coaching, plus she is a High Priestess. Sarah is a fifth generation medium. She has also taken extensive training in spirit baby communication. As our world moves in the Age of Aquarius there is a shift in the souls that wish to come to the earth plane. Many of these souls have specific requirements that are being asked of the parents. A birth doula is a birth coach. In our medical system you will only touch base with your care provider periodically. Even though birth is a natural part of life there is so much we need to know. Often there isn’t enough time to learn it all. As the birth space has changed over the years what was primarily a womban’s space. Now husbands are often the main birthing partner, this is great! Yet, the advice and guidance that womban had to give for the journey has slowly moved away. As your birth doula, I will be there to guide you throughout your pregnancy and birth experience.

The sacred rite of postpartum is the first forty days after birth. How a womban heals during this time will determine her health for the rest of her life. In the western culture womban are expected to be perfect at everything. Your spotless home, go back to your pre-pregnancy body, be back at work, cook from scratch meals, need I go on? A postpartum doula is there to mother the mother. The more time you can spend resting and bonding with your baby the better!
